My Training -
I am a BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist living and working in Lewisham, South East London. I have experience supporting clients within the NHS, schools, individually and in private practice. In each case I offer a warm welcome, a safe space to talk and a non-judgemental attitude.
I am an integrative practitioner, working relationally, with a sound knowledge of different theoretical approaches and a good understanding of how to apply them to best meet individual needs.
I have worked in a GP surgery providing therapy directly to patients in a primary care setting and in schools and colleges providing support and therapy to all students, including those with special educational needs.
Previous to counselling, I worked as a fully qualified special educational needs teacher. My work in SEND involved supporting young people to achieve their goals and realise their value in the world. I maintain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
